A Pike County man allegedly broke into his neighbor’s home, apologized, and left.
It’s reported that on Tuesday, Walter Tucker broke into the apartment of Tylin Dotson, who was home at the time of the incident.
Dotson stated that while she was home alone, she heard a noise come from her roommate’s bedroom around 2:30 a.m. She said the door opened from the inside and Tucker walked into her room as she lay in bed.
Dotson said Tucker walked into her room, looked at her, apologized and left.
Dotson said she has since installed a security system, which is armed day and night.
Police report they found Tucker with several neurontin pills in his pockets.
Officers charged Tucker with second-degree burglary and illegal possession of a legend drug.
