State Office Building Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On Friday, August 16, 2013 dignitaries descended on downtown Logan for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening of the new State Office Building. The ceremony began with the Boy Scouts of America leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Attendees on the plaza listened to brief speeches from Logan Mayor Serafino Noletti, Congressman Nick Rahall, Michael Browning who was representing Senator Joe Manchin, and, lastly, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin. After the ribbon was cut, everyone was invited inside for tours of the building and a reception. WVOW's Chelsea Allred had the opportunity to interview Congressman Rahall and Governor Tomblin during the reception.
