THE DRAMA AND YOUTH GROUPS OF THE FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST IN CHPMANVILLE WILL BE HAVING A CAR WASH BEGINNING AT 10:00AM UNTIL 3:00PM AT SPEEDWAY IN CHAPMANVILLE TO RAISE MONEY FOR A TRIP TO KINGS ISLAND THE PRICE IS 10.00 EACH

Laurel Lake Park Community Yard Sale and Hot Dog Sale (Misc)

Location: Laurel Lake Park - Lenore, WV

Laurel Lake Wildlife Management Area Foundation will host a Community Yard Sale on May 11th. It will run from 9:00 - 4:00. The spots will be 10x10 spaces, and only one person is allowed to sale from that area. A 10x10 space cost $10. The Foundation plans on having a hot dog sale at the shelter near the pool.

Motorcycle Ride and Cruise-In For Ben (Benefit Show)
Time: 10:00 AMLocation: Laurel Lake Park, Lenore, WV

Laurel Lake Wildlife Management Area Foundation will host "Motorcycle Ride and Cruise-In for Ben" on May 18th at Laurel Lake Park in Lenore, WV. Motorcycle Registration will begin at 10am and the ride will start at 11am. The Cruise-In registration will begin at 12pm. Registration for both cost $10.Other events will be going on that day at Laurel Lake Park such as: * Horseshoes * Cornhole * Kid's Games * Raffles * Karaoke * Music by: Chris Deskins (County/Gospel), Fifth Wheel Band (Counrty Southern Rock), Greg Cassady (Elvis/County), Michelle Sheppard(Country), and Rising Star Kayla Slone (Country). Concessions will also be available that day. 100% of the proceeds will go to help with medical expenses for Ben Gillman, who was recently dignosted with leukemia.

Fundraiser car show for WVU Children's Hospital. $20 entry fee ( $10 to CMN and $10 goes to the first prize "pot") per car. From noon to 3pm on May 25th. 1st place: monetary prize, 2nd place: $25 Walmart Gift card, and 3rd place: a pizza gift certificate for Chapmanville Giovanni's.
