The Logan County Health Department reported twenty-one new infections of COVID-19.

On Thursday, the health department confirmed another twenty-one cases of the virus.

In total, 61 new cases have been confirmed over the past week.

Logan County has 124 active cases, 3,395 recoveries and 94 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,613 cases of coronavirus since the onset of the outbreak.

Sixteen people are hospitalized.

Statewide, W.Va. has over eight thousand active cases. Nine hundred of the cases were confirmed Thursday, according to the Department of Health and Human Resources.
