HOLDEN  A coal truck turnover closed 22 Mine Road for a majority of Monday evening.

According to a social media post from Cora Volunteer Fire Department, the eighteen-wheeler closed the road to traffic Monday evening around five o’clock. The incident occurred on 22 Mine Road just past Woodstock Drive.

The road was closed for an extended period of time but has since reopened.

No injuries reported.

According to the Assistant Chief Steve Hepler, Cora VFD was assisted by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, WV DOT and Gaylock’s Wrecker Service.
