Cases of coronavirus are down, but contracting the virus is still a concern.
The Logan County Health Department confirmed a total of 22 infections of COVID-19 over the last week. Recoveries are down with 16 patients cleared from the active list of cases since Friday.
An additional death was reported this week. On Tuesday, Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the ninetieth death in Logan due to complications from COVID.
As of Thursday afternoon, Logan County has 37 active cases. There is a total of 3,141 patients that have recovered since the onset of the outbreak in 2020. Including 90 fatalities, Logan has a cumulative total of 3,268 cases of COVID-19.
Eight people are hospitalized.
