The Logan County Health Department reported and additional death associated with COVID-19 Tuesday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 41-year-old male attributed to coronavirus. The occurred in last October, but was attributed to COVID-19 by the Bureau for Public Health’s continuing data reconciliation with the original death certificates. Since the onset of the outbreak, 146 Logan County residents have succumbed to COVID-19
Browning also confirmed 48 new cases of the virus twenty-five cases have been cleared for recovery. A total of 71 cases has been confirmed since Christmas Eve.
Logan County currently has 149 active cases of COVID-19
Fifteen people remain hospitalized.
