MADISON Behind a pair of career-high scoring night from Addyson Amick and Rylee Conn, Class AAA No. 2 Logan scored a season-high in points to defeat Scott 56-40 Monday night at the Hawks Nest.
Amick led the Lady Wildcats with 15 points, all of which coming in the first half, while Conn added 12 on the bench for Logan, who scored a season-high 56 points to improve to 4-3 on the season.
Logan, who was averaging 36.8 points in its first five games, has scored 50 points or more in consecutive games for the first time this season.
Logan got off to a fast start in the first half. The Lady Wildcats led 19-11 after one quarter and held a 38-24 halftime lead on the Lady Skyhawks.
Scott, who fell to 3-3 on the year, got 19 points from Kelsey Harper and seven points from Jenna Butcher.
Natalie Blankenship and Halle Crouse each scored nine points for Logan, who return to action Dec. 28 at home against AAA No. 6 Ripley. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Willie Akers Arena.
