ST, MARYS   Ashlin Brumfield hit two home runs and Logan (6-1) handed St. Marys (6-3) its third straight loss Saturday afternoon defeating the Lady Blue Devils 5-1.

Brumfield was 3 for 4 with four RBIs and two runs scored.

Brumfield's solo home run with one out in the top of the first inning put Logan ahead 1-0.

Brumfield hit her second home run of the night, a three-run blast to center with no outs in the top of the sixth to give Logan a 5-1 lead.

That would be more than enough run support for Myleigh Adkins, allowed one run on five hits while striking out 13 and walking three in seven innings.

Autumn Mossor allowed five runs on eight hits with four walks and one strikeout for St. Marys in five innings in the circle.

Addie McGrady was 2 for 3 and Ella Bullman, Cali Masters and Alyssa Winland each had one hit for St. Marys.

Lauren Adkins, Myleigh Adkins, Charlie Albright, Lacy Curry, Lena Setser and Addison Starr each had one hit for Logan.
