Child fatally shot in Logan County

CHAPMANVILLE According to police, a two-year-old child is dead in Logan County from a gunshot.

West Virginia State Police is investigating the incident that happened late Saturday morning in the area of Chapmanville. Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies are assisting in that investigation.

More information is expected from troopers as the investigation develops. Logan County Sheriff PD Clemens says state police is leading the investigation.
