LOGAN The Logan County Commission and Waste Management have set a process to assist residents with disposing of flood debris from last weekend’s flood.
To properly dispose of flood debris, residents must obtain a voucher from the Logan County Office of Emergency Management (LEASA). This voucher is only for flood debris.
Flood victims can obtain the voucher from the Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority Station 30, the station located behind McDonald’s. According a press release from the Deputy Director Sonya Porter, the debris must be verified by the Office of Emergency Management before it is transported to the Waster Management transfer station at Mill Creek. The flood Voucher must be obtained for each load and must be presented to Waste Management personnel for disposal.
The vouchers may be picked up that LEASA Station 30 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Vouchers are also available on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
