CLENDENIN Jarron Glick gave up two hits in three innings and Konner Lowe gave up none in two innings while Jake Ramey was 3-for-3 with two RBIs as Class AA No. 3 Logan defeated seventh-ranked Herbert Hoover 10-0 in five innings Thursday night.
Glick finished with five strike outs and three walks while Lowe struck out four and walked one for Logan (17-8), which has won six straight games. Lowe also had one hit and one RBI at the plate in the win.
Ryan Roberts drove in two runs with a double and scored one run while Garrett Williamson had two hits, scored twice, and drove in one run for the Wildcats.
Dawson Maynard had a double and one run, Cole Blankenship and Aiden Slack each had one hit and Ivan Miller drove in a run for Logan.
Herbert Hoover starting pitcher Nate Gurski allowed nine runs on 10 hits in 3 1/3 innings while striking out four and walking four.
Elijah Saunders and Grant Smith singled in the second inning for the Huskies only two hits of the evening.
Herbert Hoover, who lost for the second time in its last seven games, fell to 13-8 with the loss.
