The Hatfield McCoy Trails announced the Ivy Branch and Cabwaylingo Trail systems are now open to the public.
In 2015, Ivy Branch was forced to close when the landowner sold the property. The land Ivy branch resides has since been purchased by the Hatfield McCoy Trails. It’s the only property completely owned by the trail system.
The Cabwaylingo Trail is situated at Cabwaylingo State Forest. It’s the first trail located on public land. The Cabwaylingo Trail will accommodate riders of all off-road machines including the full-size trucks, Jeeps, and rock crawling machines.
Despite a shutdown that lasted for months due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the trails sold nearly 65,000 permits in 2020
