HENLAWSON A Henlawson man was arrested following a domestic disturbance, according to deputies
Logan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a domestic disturbance call involving 30-year-old Patrick Sean Ballard and a female victim. A social media news release from the department depicted the victim as Ballard's girlfriend.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate Court, the victim refused to give a written or an audio statement. However, the victim stated Mr. Ballard “struck her multiple times” in the face. She also alleged he attempted to bite her, then threw her to the ground and choked her. Moreover, the victim claimed to be seventeen weeks pregnant.
Victim was transported to the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
The complaint does not elaborate on the cause of the differences between the two that led to the disturbance.
Mr. Ballard was charged with strangulation, domestic battery and domestic assault
Bail was set at 10% cash or surety in the amount $20,000.
