RICHWOOD   Justin Mullins and Trey Ward each had 13 points to lead four Hillbillies in double figures and ninth-ranked Man defeated Richwood 63-41 Saturday afternoon at Richwood High School.

Moises Hick had 12 and Landon Cantrell 11 for the Hillbillies, who won their eighth consecutive game to improve to 11-3 on the year.

Man was never threatened from the opening tip and showed no rust from a long bus trip, jumping out to a 24-6 lead after one quarter. The Hillbillies led 32-12 at halftime and outscored Richwood 15-14 in the third quarter and 16-15 in the fourth to hand the Lumberjacks their seventh straight defeat.

Richwood looks to end its losing streak Tuesday night when they travel to Meadow Bridge.

Man will look for a ninth straight win Monday night when they travel to Clay County. The Hillbillies defeated the Panthers 65-52 Friday night at the Man Memorial Fieldhouse and will be looking for a second win in three days over Clay.
