VAN Man built a 20-point lead after three quarters and held off a fourth Van rally to pick up its 13th win of the season.
Three Hillbillies scored in double figures Monday night and Man defeated Van 62-52 at Van High School.
Justin Mullins led the Hillbillies (13-7) with 14 points, Trey Ward had 13 and Landon Cantrell 12 in the win. Josh Spriggs was one point shy of becoming the fourth Hillbilly in double figures finishing with nine points. Connor White had six and Connor Booth and Micah Goble each finished with four points.
Mason Johner led Van (0-14) with a game-high 18 points. Earl Davis had 12 for the Bulldogs, who led 12-10 after one quarter. Aaryn Meadows scored eight, Mark Meadows and Christian Valle each scored six points and Cade Price two.
