SISSONVILLE Sissonville outscored Chapmanville 13-5 in the third quarter breaking a 29-29 halftime tie and build an eight-point advantage.
The Lady Tigers were unable to claw back as the Lady Indians held on to pull the upset of Class AA No. 8 Chapmanville 57-47 Wednesday night at Sissonville High School.
Kynadee Britton led all scorers with 28 points in the contest and Makaela Ullman added 16 for Sissonville, who improved to 7-8 overall and 4-3 in the Cardinal Conference.
Sissonville led 17-10 after one quarter of play but Chapmanville outscored the Lady Indians, 19-12, in the second quarter to tie the contest at 29 at halftime.
Alaira Evans led the way with 20 points and Jaiden Mahon scored 16 for Chapmanville, who fell to 10-6 overall and 5-2 in the Cardinal Conference.
The Lady Tigers are back in action Tuesday night when they host Class AAA No. 1 Wayne.
