POCA Halle Crouse scored 20 points and Addyson Amick added 11 as Logan defeated Poca 74-39 on the road Monday Night at Allen Osborne Court.
Crouse and Jayden Moore combined for seven of Logan’s 10 3-pointers in the win. Ava Albright, Amick and Karlee Gray each had one 3-point basket in the win.
Crouse had 13 points in the first half to help Logan to a 36-16 halftime lead.
Meade finished with nine points for Logan, Bam Mosby added seven points while Peytience Bragg and Michel’A Swan each had six points.
Gray and Kinley Steele each had four points and Albright three for the Lady Wildcats, who had 29 made field goals and improved to 1-1 on the season much to the pleasure of coach Kevin Gertz.
“(We) played with much better intensity the entire game,” Gertz said. “Everybody got lots of playing time and contributed nicely.”
Alyssa Raynes scored 12 points and Shiloh Harding added 11 points for Poca.
The Lady Dots fell to 1-2 on the season and will host Herbert Hoover Thursday night. Logan will travel to Class AA No. 8 Chapmanville Regional Thursday night for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
