LOGAN Lacy Curry had four hits and Kaylee Coleman and Harlee Quick each drove in two runs as Logan run ruled Scott 9-1 Friday afternoon at Bea Orr Field.
Curry went 4 for 4 with a double and two runs while Coleman was 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and Quick was 1 for 2 with a double and two RBIs.
Addison and Ashlin Brumfield each had two hits and one RBI and Taylor Noe had two hits for the Lady Wildcats, who had 15 hits and jumped out to an 8-0 lead after two innings.
Myleigh Adkins allowed one run on four hits in six innings to earn the win in the circle. She struck out eight and walked two in the win.
Ava Sampson allowed seven runs on seven hits and walked two in 1 1/3 innings and was the losing pitcher for Scott.
Amelia Smith had two hits at the plate for Scott and Rikki Beth Bailey and Addy Javins each had one hit for the Lady Skyhawks.
Adkins had one hit and one RBI for Logan and Isabella Propst scored a run.
Logan improved to 7-2 with the win while Scott dropped to 6-4 with the loss.
