LOGAN The Logan City Council recently approved pay raises for full-time employees.
Last week, the council unanimously approved an additional $1 per hour for 39 full-time city employees.
The raises begin next month and will cost approximately $74,000 according to the city accountant Jeff Vallet.
The raises were expedited by the council due to the current high price of gas.
According to reporting by the Logan Banner, the raise for employees is the second raise over the past year.
