The Logan County Health Department confirmed an additional death due to COVID-19 Friday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed a 42-year-old female died due to complications from the coronavirus. Since the onset of the outbreak, 84 Logan Countians have succumbed to COVID-19.
Eleven new infections of the virus were confirmed through laboratory testing, and three cases were cleared for recovery. The health department reported 21 new infections over the past week.
Logan County has 45 active cases, 2,912 recoveries and 84 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,041 cases of COVID-19.
Three people remain hospitalized.
