Logan Health Dept. Reports 1 Death, 40 New COVID Cases

The Logan County Health Department reported an additional death attributed to COVID-19 Monday.


Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 79-year-old male due to complications from the virus. Since the onset of the outbreak, 141 Logan County residents have succumbed to coronavirus.

Forty-one new cases of COVID-19 were discovered through laboratory testing over the weekend. A total of 56 cases has been been cleared for recovery.


Logan County has 161 active cases, 5,796 recoveries and 141 fatalities for a cumulative total 6,098 cases of COVID-19

Nineteen people remain hospitalized.
