The Logan Wildcats persevered Tuesday night with a 7-3 victory over Pt. Pleasant and kept alive chances of winning the Region and moving on to state.
The Wildcats suffered a defeat at home Monday with Pt. Pleasant getting the upper hand with a final score 5-4.
Game two was played in Pt. Pleasant and was tied for most of the game until Logan plated four runs in the fifth inning.
Logan’s Konnor Lowe went 3-for-4 with three RBI’s.
The Tiger’s Tanner Mitchell went 3-for-3 with an RBI
Game three tonight from Hatfield Island will decide if Logan will move on to the state tournament. The game begins tonight at 6 o’clock.
