Over 11 Thousand New Cases Of COVID Reported Last Week In Ky.



In Kentucky, Governor Andy Beshear announced 11,572 new cases of COVID-19 for last week with an average test positivity rate of 6.13%


Beshear said the last three days of positive cases, totaling 3,888 new infections, are the highest numbers for the Commonwealth over the last four weeks.


Beshear urged Kentuckians to be cautious this Thanksgiving. The governor recommended everyone to get vaccinated and those that are due for a booster to get one.


As of Monday, 2,650,790 Kentuckians have received at least the first shot of vaccine. Beshear said 504,028 state residents have received boosters.
