WAYNE COUNTY A school bus crash in Wayne County sends six students to the hospital.
Wayne County Schools said the bus was transporting Ft. Gay PK-8 and Tolsia High School students when it struck a power pole Monday morning.
Six students were taken to the hospital. According to the school district, the students have non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident knocked out power to Ft. Gay PK-8 and Dunlow Elementary. Both schools were dismissed at 8:30 a.m. School will resume on schedule Tuesday.
According to reporting form Channel 13, the crash happened just after 8 o’clock this morning on Mill Creek Road at Route 52 near Fort Gay.
