ASHLAND, Ky. Drew Smith scored 36 points and made nine 3-pointers to lead the Ashland Tomcats to an 80-72 win over the Chapmanville Tigers Tuesday night.
Smith made nine of Ashland's 13 3-pointers made. The Tomcats won their sixth straight game after three straight losses and improved to 9-5. Zander Carter added 16 and Tyson Lalonde scored 14.
Joey Gollihue led the Tigers with 26 points. Dakota Dalton scored 20 and Keaton Terry added 15 for Chapmanville who fell to 5-3 with the loss.
