COVID-19 cases in Logan County remain relatively low following a week of only five new cases discovered through laboratory testing.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed five new cases of the virus since July first.
As of Monday, Logan County has 12 active cases of the virus. Recoveries now stand at 3,258 and fatalities remain at 91 individuals for the county. Since the onset of the outbreak, Logan has recorded a cumulative total of 3,361 cases of COVID-19.
Two people remain hospitalized.
West Virginia currently has 987 active cases including 160 additional cases reported since Friday.
Cases of the Delta variant in the Mountain State stand at 17 cases.
