Since the onset of the outbreak, 2006 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus.
Twenty-three deaths were reported in the last 24-hours.
Moreover, the state DHHR confirmed 905 new cases of the virus.
As of 10 o’clock Friday morning, West Virginia has 22,570 active cases of coronavirus.
Today’s daily positive infection rate is 4.66%.
