W.Va. DHHR Report 55 New COVID Cases


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 55 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday morning, according to the dashboard at the DHHR’s website.


Active cases of the virus have fallen well below two thousand cases with 1,853 cases confirmed today.


The number of active cases is lowest update in more than a year.


Four deaths were reported in the Mountain State today. The additional deaths included a 31-year-old female from Mingo County.
