The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 164 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.
As of 10 o’clock Monday morning, West Virginia has 3,987 active cases of the virus.
A Total of 337 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.
Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 4.01%.
According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Monday morning, 6 counties are in the “gold” category. “Gold” counties include Boone, Logan, Wayne and Wyoming.
Lincoln and Mingo counties are “yellow.”
McDowell County is green.
